Frequently Asked Questions
What is there for my children?
Children are always welcome to stay in service; however, if you/they are so inclined, we have age-appropriate "children's church" which we call Roosevelt Kids. You are welcome to join your child to his/her class to get a glimpse of what will be taught. The children are typically dismissed from the main sanctuary after the offering, right before the sermon.
How do I join the church?
We have Welcome Receptions every other month, which act as the first step in joining the church family. The second step involves attending a Membership Class, which is offered once or twice during the year (depending on need). Following the Membership Class, you decide whether you want to join us as a member of the church family.
Is Roosevelt affiliated with a certain denomination?
We are a non-denominational congregation that is led by elders. We meet in one building and have one Sunday morning service.
Where can I park on Sunday mornings?
In addition to our own parking lot, we are able to use the lots belonging to Farmer-Leavitt Insurance Agency and Arizona Multihousing Association. See the maps below.
