Newsletter - The Roose
The idea to name our newsletter "The Roose" (pronounced "rews") came from Sammi Nsubuga and began in honor (or jest) of those of us who pronounce "Roosevelt" in the same way. We thought it was short, simple, and catchy; little did we know at the time that "roose" is an Old English word meaning "praise." How fitting. We-the writers and contributors-hope that as you read through each issue, you are drawn to more fully praise our God and celebrate the creative spirit He has instilled within each of us.
