For artists and those interested in art, from any Christian background or none, to meet for support, friendship, dialogue and artistic activities of various kinds
First Friday
On the first Friday of each month, the downtown art scene hosts a free art walk. Galleries, art spaces, and studios open their doors from 6-11pm. Roosevelt art space will sometimes participate in this event by hosting art shows, performances, artist salons, film screenings, or a host of other events.

Sound and Pound
Sound and Pound is an annual concert series that looks to engage all of the people in downtown Phoenix with the Gospel. We propose to present the Gospel through Christ centered hip-hop music. National and local artists represented are theologically and doctrinally sound.
The artists chosen to perform have been fully submitted to church leadership and discipline in accordance with scriptural teachings. These artists have invested a large portion of their time to design and perfect their art in which they can present the Gospel through heart felt real stories of how God has changed their lives. Not only do they share their own personal testimony, they also explain and display the testimony of Jesus Christ and the Cross that he bore for us, His Church, through music.
