Biblical Teaching for Today's World
We at Roosevelt love to learn. But we want to learn not just so that we can get a lot of information in our heads to do nothing with except impress people at parties. We are passionate to learn so that we might be equipped to more wisely engage our world with Christ. Roosevelt University is a teaching ministry of Roosevelt Community Church dedicated to giving relevant, comprehensive, and sound biblical teaching so that people might be and live more like Jesus Christ. This kind of learning is a lifelong process, but one well worth pursuing for it will result in us living more wisely and serving people in our church and in our city more effectively.
RU currently has five major "departments," each of which offer a range of classes. Each department has specific core classes. They will be indicated in red and will be regularly scheduled throughout the year. Other classes will be offered by popular demand. Most classes will run between 3-6 weeks. All classes will be taught by RCC pastors, elders, or other qualified teachers.

RU also offers specific course "tracks." Each track will involve attending and completing certain courses within RU. Our prayer is that the course tracks will be more intentional ways for people to become a lot more spiritually mature and be better equipped for ministry. Also, you'll earn a nice and fancy certificate.
